After the launch of ChatGPT, Google faced criticism for trailing behind in the AI race. 

Google CEO Sundar Pichai addressed this, stating that the public believes Google lost its magic touch when ChatGPT came up. 

He emphasized that, even though there are external doubts, he has a strong internal understanding of Google's capabilities and developments. Especially Google's strategic effort to combine the brain and deep mind into Google's deep mind.

Pichai also said he is good at tuning out noise and focusing on separating valuable feedback from destruction.

According to him, leading Google right now is similar to coaching a top football team like Barcelona or Real Madrid. 😊

Just like those coaches face constant pressure and criticism, he also faces high expectations, he added. In case things go wrong, people will quickly call for change.

He describes the current moment as one of the biggest opportunities ahead for Google. Especially the past potential in the next decade or two. He believes Google is in the best position to make the most of this AI-driven future.
