New Passport Rules

  • A birth certificate is a must for those who were born after 2023 
  • The passport will not print the address. Instead, the address will be within the barcode. 
  •  A marriage certificate is not required. Instead, couples can submit a selfie with a self-attestation that they are partners with the Adhar card and signature. Must state the partnership status whether living together or married. 
  •  To change the partner's name, submit the death certificate or a divorce certificate.
  • Parent's names are not necessary
